NWD Submission Form

The 2026 NWD Industry Consultative Committee will review the National Wool Declaration (NWD) and associated integrity, definitions and declarations.

The Review will consider a range of topics including, but not limited to, the following key areas:

• The relevance of current mulesing status declarations
• Whether the NWD continues to meet evolving market and supply chain information requirements
• The user friendliness of the NWD
• NWD declaration and compliance rates, and overall industry adoption
• The operation and effectiveness of the NWD Integrity Program, including desktop audits, verification processes, and on farm inspections
• Communications relating to the NWD

The Review will also consider audit arrangements under the NWD Integrity Program, and opportunities to improve the user experience of the declaration process.
An open call for submissions has been made. Completed submissions are due by 5pm (AEST) on Friday 29 May 2026.

Submissions can be provided by completing this form. Submissions on behalf or organisations must be on official letterhead (please use the upload feature).
