Use this search tool to confirm whether a Wool Classer is currently registered to class wool in Australia. Follow the steps to validate a Wool Classer’s registration.

How to search

1. Enter the Wool Classer stencil number.
   Do not include the category prefix (e.g. MC, AW, OC). Enter the number only.
2. Enter the Wool Classer’s last name.
   Include any punctuation if applicable (e.g. O’Brien).
3. Select “Search” to view the result.

What your search result means

You will see one of the following:

• No matching results - The stencil number and surname entered do not match any Wool Classers known to AWEX.
• Wool Classer is Registered - The Wool Classer is currently registered to class wool.
• Wool Classer is Unregistered - The Wool Classer is not currently registered.
• Wool Classer is not registered to class - The individual is registered as a Classer Associate and is not permitted to class wool.
