The Australian Wool Exchange plays an important role in communicating information between the many participants that make up the wool industry - from over 21,000 woolclassers to wool processors located in over 20 countries.

AWEX Projects

AWEX has worked on many innovative wool industry projects. AWEX is particularly focussed on implementing new ideas and technologies that improve the transfer of wool and information from on-farm to the processor.

Some of the projects AWEX are currently undertaking include:
